Halle Bailey Shares Adorable Photo of Baby Halo Eating Lunch

"The Little Mermaid" star has been sharing cute clips of her baby boy on social media.

Halle Bailey is basking in motherhood! The singer and actress gave birth to her son with rapper DDG, Halo, in December of last year. While pictures of her child on social media were kept to a minimum at first, β€œThe Color Purple” star has been sharing more and more of her adorable son, including a clip over the weekend that had the internet talking.

In a post on DDG’s Snapchat account, Bailey cradles baby Halo at a restaurant, feeding him some food. Clearly, Halo takes after his mother, as the two look almost identical in the video. Outside of that, as DDG points out in his caption, the two eat the same way as well. The rapper wrote, β€œthey chew the same,” with a bunch of laughing emojis.

In a fan account post on Instagram that reposted DDG’s Snapchat story, fans took to the comments with their thoughts on the two. One user wrote, β€œThat is her little handsome twin,” while another wrote, β€œWhole face duplicated,” writing about the striking resemblance between the mother and son. Another user wrote, β€œImagine giving birth to urself ... too cute.”

Naturally, there were some unkind comments, with some questioning why the baby had already moved on to solid foods. One user wrote, β€œchild he was gagging, Slow downnn lol.” Others went so low to say β€œthey not cute.”

Once again, some users online are a little too vocal about mothers in the public eye and how they parent their children, going so far as to even critique how a mother and child look. Luckily, Bailey’s passionate supporters were in the comments defending her as well.

One account wrote, β€œsome of these comments...,” alongside throwing up emojis. β€œSome people are so miserable, please heal soon.” As the tried and true saying clearly spells out: If you don’t have something nice to say, then don’t say anything at all.
