Derrick Henry, the school’s 6-foot-3-inch, 242-pound running back, won the Heisman Trophy Saturday night, reports the Associated Press.

“I’m just so thankful to have this trophy,” Henry said, according to the news outlet. “It’s just a blessing and an honor.”

Christian McCaffrey of Stanford University was the runner-up, and Clemson’s Deshaun Watson finished third.

Henry is the second Alabama player to win the Heisman, joining running back Mark Ingram, who won the award in 2009, the report says.

The #Heisman hashtag trended on Twitter Saturday as fans celebrated the win and as Henry expressed his gratitude for receiving the trophy.
