LaVar Ball, the boys’ outspoken father, told ESPN that the burglars threw a rock through the window of the family’s home but nothing appeared to be taken. A family representative told the sports station that neighbors heard a noise and called the police. When police entered the home, they found several of the family’s belongings in the middle of a room.

According to TMZ Sports, police believe that the burglars were scared off by the quick response of neighbors and patrol cars.

“Everybody’s all right,” LaVar Ball told SportsCenter Wednesday. “Chino Hills has got the best neighborhood watch in the world. As soon as you bust a window, they’re calling the police. That’s all they did, was break a window.”
