Trump Responds to Kamala Harris’ DNC Speech With Strange, Unending Rants

The former president threw a tantrum while Harris made history.

Donald Trump keeps Vice President Kamala Harris’ name in his mouth out of fear of losing the upcoming election. As Harris closed out the four-day Democratic National Convention in Chicago with a rousing speech Thursday night, Trump attempted to negate everything she said.

He started his tantrum on his social media platform Truth Social by posting β€œWHERE’S HUNTER?” as an attack on President Joe Biden’s son. As soon as Harris took the stage, she blasted the former president and called him β€œa deeply unserious man” and explained how β€œthe consequences of putting Donald Trump back in the White House are extremely serious.”

When Harris stated that the former president has spent time β€œcozying up to dictators” and has acted as if he’s above the law, Trump responded on Truth Social: β€œShe’s done nothing for three and a half years but talk, and that’s what she’s doing tonight, she’s complaining about everything but doing nothing!”

He continued on with his rant, β€œShe he should leave the Speech right now, go to Washington, D.C., close the Border, allow fracking in Pennsylvania and other places, and start doing the things she’s complaining about aren’t done!”

Trump also defended his position on abortion and birth control as well as attempted to distance himself from Project 2025, the far-right-wing platform whose execution is contingent upon his second presidential term. He called Fox News to repeat that Harris was complaining too much at the DNC, and insisted that, β€œShe’s not having success, I’m having success.”

He was on air for about 10 minutes, during which he talked aimlessly and pushed buttons on his phone by accident. However, hosts Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum cut Trump off in the middle of his rant to do other programming. Trump then called Newsmax to keep his tirade going.
