Trump Dragged to Hell For Posting This Deeply Offensive AI Video of Barack Obama

Trump took to Truth Social to post a questionable fake video of Obama, and better believe folks online were NOT here for it.

After President Donald Trump posted an AI video of former President Barack Obama, many have been wondering exactly why would the 47th president ever do such a thing. And now that the clip has gone viral, one musical group is speaking out against it completely.

On Sunday (July 20), Trump took to Truth Social to share the fake video. It begins with a real moment of Obama at a rally for former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris. “No one– especially the president– is above the law,” Obama said… Then, cue the background music, Village People’s “Y.M.C.A.”

What follows is somewhat of a spectacle, with Trump clearly poking fun at Democrats, who have all declared that “no one is above the law,” referring to Trump’s 34 convictions. Then, it cuts to an artificial clip of Trump and Obama sitting in the White House when FBI agents swarm the two presidents to arrest Obama. They “arrest” him, and then the next clip shows Obama sitting in a jail cell.

The second half of the AI video features the Village People’s song. The group has been letting Trump slide when it comes to him using “Y.M.C.A.” at rallies and on social media. But after the questionable AI video, the group released a statement pushing back against Trump.

“While we don’t want Y.M.C.A. to be used for political endorsements of any kind, President Trump merely sharing a video containing our song does not meet the standard for copyright infringement,” the group began in a statement to PEOPLE.

“However, we will attempt to find the original person or entity who posted the offensive video featuring President Barack Obama, and have such video taken down as not being endorsed by Village People, nor any of the owners of the copyright,” they continued.

Of course, folks online had several thoughts on the entire situation. @GoddLevel pointed out what is perhaps very obvious. “The most racist sh*t ive ever seen.” @EraTelltale called for Trump’s impeachment. “Impeaching this dude after midterms would hit sweet if we manage to make it happen, it would be so funny,” he wrote.

“Childish and moronic act from someone in a high office,” @ChillGamerMac added. Other folks said Trump has better things to worry about other than Obama getting arrested.

Of course, many MAGA supporters found the AI video hilarious. But Black folks on X were pissed. “This is not funny,” @DjOmegaMVP wrote. “It is particularly disgusting to show an innocent Black person getting arrested–particularly one who has spent a lifetime trying to overcome the stereotypes that racists like Trump favor.”

Many people like @ladidaix told Obama he should take legal action. “I just think @BarackObama should sue idk.”

“Instead of posting the epstein list Donald Trump is posting ai videos of Obama being arrested due to his citizenship status,” @Justhugee pointed out.

“‘No one is above the law’ said by the guy who had to literally become president to avoid going to prison,” @N1Smithinite tweeted.

Some folks online suggested Trump posting this AI video is a clear distraction tactic. “Trump posting fake AI Obama videos to distract from the very real videos of him creeping on teenagers and partying with his best friend and known pedophile jeffrey epstein,” @covie_93 tweeted.

The former president hasn’t responded to Trump’s AI video yet. Meanwhile, Republicans in Trump’s camp are slowly turning their backs on the MAGA leader as growing tensions over the infamous Epstein files continues to bubble over.
