Scary On-Air Incident During News Broadcast Finally Explained

While we’re waiting for the real Melania Trump to please stand up, let’s throw it back to Oct. 19, 2011. Here, President Barack Obama and forever-my-(first-)lady Michelle were at Joint Base Langley-Eustis in Hampton, Va., sharing a moment.

Ummmmfff. I’m blushing over my coffee over here. How did they ever get anything done giving each other looks like that??

The Obamas were running a campaign-style bus tour to rally support for the American Jobs Act, a series of policy proposals that experts said would have added anywhere from 1.9 million to 2.6 million jobs. The GOP ultimately blocked the bill in the Senate.

Obama said that the vast majority of Americans would have seen a tax cut under the bill. The plan also included tax credits ranging from $5,600 to $9,600 to encourage businesses to hire unemployed veterans.
