They say “where there’s a will, there’s a way.” And when it’s Tiffany Haddish, her will to bring find more funding for her She Ready Foundation has led her to contemplate some unconventional ways of raising money.
In a since-expired Instagram Live session on Tuesday, the “Like a Boss” star joked with her followers and told them that she was thinking of selling her used underwear in order to raise some extra coins for her charity.

“I could sell them drawers. That’s what I should do. I should sell them panties. That’ll be a lot of money for the foundation. Imma wash all my clothes today. I got so many clothes I could probably go six months without washing my clothes,” she said, as reported by Page Six. “That’s how many pairs of underwear I got. I need to get rid of all that stuff. I should just throw them in the trash. I can’t just give it away for free, though. Never mind.”
She added, “Half off on dirty thongs. Imma sell the thongs.”
While Haddish’s comedic candor should come as no surprise, she explained that folks should also expect her to be a whole lot more honest, and less as nice, now that she’s sober. The “Girls Trip” star recently admitted to becoming more transparent with how she feels now that she’s weaned herself off of alcohol.
“I’ve learned that I’ve been too damn nice. I’ve been way too nice over the years,” she recently told People at the 3rd Annual Friendly House Comedy Fundraiser on Sunday. “I think people think... Because when you drink there’s no filter. But when I drank, there was a filter, okay? Because I would think really mean things, and want to say really mean things, but I just told myself not to say them. Now I say the shit.”
She added: “Now I say it. If I think it, I say it. That filter is gone. ‘Oh, don’t say nothing because you got alcohol in you and you might say something mean.’ Now I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m sober and this is what I really feel, so I’m going to say it.’ Because it needs to be said.”
