TMI? What Did Real Housewife Mary Cosby Have to Say About Her Son’s Sex Life?

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby shared a bit too much about her son’s personal life on last night’s season four reunion episode.

When host Andy Cohen asked Cobsy how it’s been living with her 21-year-old son Robert Jr. and his new wife, she looked less than thrilled to speak on the situation. Cohen pushed further asking, “What made you think that your son would be bad in bed?” before an unseen clip aired to sum up her answer.

In the clip, Cosby is sitting in her glam chair talking to her makeup artist about an awkward moment when she overheard her son having sex in the house.

Although that was already a less-than-ideal moment, she was more upset about hearing her daughter-in-law screaming in the bedroom. “It was like a yell and was like ‘what’s wrong, are they okay?’” She admitted to slightly opening the bedroom door to check but quickly understood that her son was having sex. “I left and was scarred,” she said.

Cosby thought her daughter-in-law — whom she still calls her son’s “girlfriend” since she doesn’t fully believe in the legitimacy of the marriage — was being dramatic and wanted to make sure that her son didn’t get a “big head” from his wife’s/girlfriend’s exaggerated expressions in the bedroom.

She recalled later pulling her aside to say, “Don’t make my son think he’s better than he is, stop doing all that…tell the truth.”

Cosby returned to “Salt Lake” this season after making an abrupt departure and disappearance from social media during season two. Although she wasn’t a full-time housewife, she still had some stand-out, bizarre moments — among them, opening up about Robert Jr.’s new marriage. When Cosby initially brought it up to her son on camera, she thought that his marriage was just a rumor since he’d not talked to her about it.

However, he fessed up and said that he had been married for around a year and went to the courthouse to do it. Cosby and her family live in a humongous home; she said that she knew that the girl was living with him, but claims she had no idea that they took that step in their relationship. Throughout the season, Cosby grappled with the fact that her son was living a whole new life behind her back.
