“Two months ago, in July, I was diagnosed with HIV. I went home that night, and I took pills to take me out,” he said in an October 29 social media post he recorded from a hospital bed. “Next morning, I was found by an angel, Miss Roxanne.”

Mannie went on to tell viewers that Miss Roxanne called an ambulance to get him to the hospital, but added that the rest of the details are foggy.

“I don’t remember anything. I was being resuscitated in the ambulance because I was gone, or I was out, one of the two,” he continued. “I’ve been taking my momma through hell that whole two months.”

I hope this brings understanding to most with questions and the messages saying I should have kept it to myself. Mind you I haven’t had sex in 2 1/2 years. I didn’t do drugs that required a needle. Dr says it’s must have laid dormant. For the past two years I was negative! I have my test from last year. Crazy

He ended his video by confirming that his health is improving slowly. He also took time to thank his supporters who have rallied around him during an especially dark time in his life.

“When I tried to take myself out, I didn’t know that I had phenomenal, elite people supporting me. I didn’t know. And I’m grateful to be alive today,” he said.

Mannie’s health update post has already received nearly 30,000 likes on TikTok and plenty of comments from fans who tune in regularly for his Boss and CEO comedy videos and are not ready to let him step down from his position.

“We love you. Don’t you ever think you’re gonna clock out early on us. ❤️ We have a strict no tolerance policy on that,” wrote someone on TikTok.

Other concerned fans posted words of encouragement to keep up the fight to take care of his health.

“Mannie! Do NOT give up. You are here for a reason and you have a story, a platform to make a change with your free spirit and awesome content!” wrote someone else.
