Houston police told KHOU-TV that the robbers used their vehicle to break through a wall of the Sense Beauty Supply store in northwest Houston early Wednesday morning.

According to the news station, the owners’ security system not only notified them of the burglary but also allowed them to see the robbers in the store on a live video feed. They immediately called the police and notified them of the hair heist, but the bandits had already taken off by the time the cops arrived.

The news of this latest weave snatching comes almost a week after police reported a similar robbery in which robbers used a pickup truck to smash through the front door of Beauty Sensation in Houston. Surveillance footage of that robbery showed several men entering through the smashed entrance and loading the pickup with hot hair.

Police have noted that both robberies have not taken longer than two minutes, but they did not say whether they believe the robberies are connected.
