It’s been almost three weeks since Rivas’ body was found by Los Angeles police. According to reports, she was chopped into several pieces, wrapped in plastic and stuffed inside the trunk of a Tesla belonging to D4vd. As all eyes continue to fixate on the alleged relationship between the singer and the victim, police moved to search the mansion D4vd was reportedly staying at. But days after the search, something peculiar happened.
According to the Daily Mail, D4vd broke his lease and moved out of the $4 million mansion. Police searched the rental home on Sept. 17. Movers were spotted at the Hollywood Hills home hauling the singer’s belongings out earlier this week, the publication reported.
Police haven’t announced any possible suspects in the case. Still, many online are convinced D4vd is more involved then the cops have revealed. We told you D4vd has a matching tattoo with the victim, and resurfaced songs, photos and videos link D4vd to a girl name Celeste — the same name as the victim. This on top of Rivas’ mother telling TMZ her daughter was dating someone named David — the same birth name as the singer — has folks pointing fingers.
It’s important to note LAPD has not named D4vd as a suspect nor have they arrested the singer, who was on tour when Rivas’ body was discovered, in connection to any crime.
At this stage of the investigation, there are a lot more questions than answers. What we do know, however, is Rivas had been missing for over a year before her body was discovered. According to the Los Angeles Times, she previously ran away from home at least three times before her death.
The teenager was remembered by her family as a “beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend,” according to GoFundMe. The fundraising campaign has raised more than $24,000 of a $28,000 goal. Rivas body was released to her family, who is expected to have a memorial service for her.
