Brianne Joseph, owner of Sly Fox Investigations, is one of the stars of the Netflix series “Love Con Revenge.” In the show, she teams up with Cecilie Fjellhøy, one of the victims of infamous con artist Simon Leviev, (aka “The Tinder Swindler”), to help people who have been impacted by romance scams get payback on the lovers who have done them wrong.
Joseph’s Sly Fox is an award-winning Louisiana-based firm that specializes in helping clients in cases of insurance fraud, infidelity, child custody and process service. The six-figure agency is also the only firm in the state to receive an honor from the Louisiana State Senate for excellence in surveillance.
In an interview with Netflix about her new show, Joseph said she believes the work she does is so important because cases of romance fraud aren’t usually a priority for the police.
“They believe that it’s just a situation where it’s a domestic dispute, or maybe it’s a woman who’s just scorned, and she’s just upset because the relationship ended,” she said. “It leaves a loophole for these scammers to continuously get new victims because they’re not being held accountable.”
But Joseph’s clients can rest assured that when it comes to helping them get what they deserve, she is relentless.
“I’m like a pit bull; when I grab hold of something, I don’t let it go,” Joseph said in a trailer for the show.
The show has already received plenty of feedback as perplexed viewers are trying to figure out how these romance fraud victims are giving up more than a bus pass in this economy.
“I’m watching Love Con Revenge and wtf was these men saying/doing to the women for them to give them thousands of their life savings?!? The most I’ve given is $20 & i thought that was way too much. And that was just me being a smidge nice. Like?!?” wrote someone on X.
