It looks like Dr. Dre may have legal woes on the horizon from the most unlikeliest of sources. As reported by TMZ, the musician is now being sued to the tune of $10 million by a psychiatrist who said the star harassed and threatened him via text.
Dr. Charles Sophy claims he provided Dre -- real name Andre Young -- and his ex-wife Nicole Young marriage counseling sessions before their divorce was finalized in December 2021. Sophy said he also acted as a mediator during their split.

According to the medical professional, Dreβs texts were abusive and continuous 14 months following the divorce. Sophy said Dre assumed he was using a third-party to insult him during the proceedings and was upset. He even claimed Dre sent people disguised as FBI agents to Sophyβs gated community to find him and send a message.
The most damning piece of evidence may be these alleged texts the N.W.A. legend sent to Sophy, which were published online.

In the shocking screenshots, Sophy insists Dreβs called him a βb**ch,β said that he was βnot playingβ and labeled him a βpiece of s***.β Dre also allegedly said he was going to make Sophy βpay for that.β
According to the outlet, Sophy is demanding an order that Dre stay 100 yards away from him in addition to financial damages. He stated that he doesnβt feel safe at home and has increased security. Sophy also said he now wears a bulletproof vest and hat in public.
Dr. Dreβs attorney Howard King stated that his client filed a confidential complaint with the Osteopathic Medical Board of California about his experience with Sophy.
ββDr. Sophy filed his suit only after he failed to pressure Mr. Young into dropping efforts to get Dr. Sophy punished for dereliction of duties and incredible incompetence,β King explained in a statement.
King said it was Dreβs intent to have Sophyβs medical license revoked after he allegedly βinserted himself into a contentious divorceβ and encouraged βone of their children to take sides againstβ Dre.
