Since 2010, Harvey has been the host of “Family Feud,” the hilarious game show that asks families to guess the most popular answers to survey questions for the chance to win cash and a new car. And their answers, which can be both hilarious and ridiculous, often go viral on social media. The show, which has spent five consecutive seasons as the number one first-run syndicated show with women 25-54, was just renewed through the 2025-26 season.
In honor of Steve Harvey’s 67th birthday on Jan. 17, we look back at some of our favorite “Family Feud” moments.

When this “Family Feud” contestant was asked for an activity that’s hard to do with your eyes open, he suggested reading as the obvious answer.
It Made Sense to Her
And not to be outdone, this contestant answered “panda” for an animal whose legs are featured on a restaurant menu. Because of Panda Express, of course!
She Was Just Kidding, Right?
The look on Harvey’s face was priceless when wife Marjorie said she wouldn’t mind trading her husband in for a really good pool boy.
What Did You Say, Ms. Carolyn?
No one was expecting Carolyn’s answer to Harvey asking what she’d be wearing if she knew he was at her front door.

When asked for another way to say “mother,” we’re not sure if this woman really thought she was giving different answers. But you have to give her props for trying to sell it to Harvey.
Take My Kids, Please
I’m sure this contestant’s kids were shocked to find out that their mother wouldn’t mind a burglar breaking into their home and taking...them!
Pot-Tato?
We’re not sure where she got this answer for a word or phrase that starts with ‘pot.” But surprisingly, someone agreed with her.
“We Need a Bigger Button!”
Kellie Pickler was so excited to give her answer on this episode of “Celebrity Family Feud,” she completely missed the buzzer.
A Girl’s Gotta Eat
This woman’s husband served the country, but using the barter system, she said she’d gladly give him up for a loaf of bread.
