Rajah Ke’ Morton says his mother, Keke Wyatt, used his cancer diagnosis for her own personal gain, causing online outrage.

There’s trouble brewing within Keke Wyatt’s family, and it’s pretty heartbreaking. Rajah Ke’ Morton, son of the “My First Love” singer, says the R&B star has been using his cancer survival story for “personal gain” and “attention,” causing some online conversation as the internet resurfaces some past family behavioral patterns. Chile, you are going to have to take a seat for this tea!

Fans may recall Wyatt announcing her son’s cancer diagnosis in 2017. In an emotional Instagram post, she revealed that Rajah had lost all of his hair and said she would cut hers to honor him. Now, Rajah,23, who is openly a part of the LGBTQ+ community, claims his mother presented herself as supportive in public, but her behavior offline was the complete opposite.

In a now viral TikTok, Rajah joined the “put a finger down” challenge with a candid and painful prompt: “Put a finger down if you were diagnosed with cancer as a teenager and your parent decided to publicly announce your diagnosis for personal gain and attention, but behind the scenes saying that your diagnosis is karma for you being apart of the Alphabet mafia — and if they known that you were gonna turn out like this they could’ve kept their money.” Ouch!

He folded his thumb, leaving four fingers raised.

The viral video sent shockwaves across the internet, with viewers quickly showing support for Rajah. “What a terrible thing to say,” one TikTok user responded. “Sending you all the love.” Another wrote, “Nobody deserves that from a parent. So sorry you went through that.”

As Rajah’s claims gained traction, social media users began connecting the dots — resurfacing clips of Keke Wyatt’s mother’s homophobic behavior on television.

On her WE TV reality show, “Keke Wyatt’s World,” Wyatt’s mother, Lorna Wyatt, and Rajah had a heated exchange over racial and homophobic slurs she allegedly directed at him, which sparked a fallout between the grandmother and grandson.

“Keke Wyatt’s mother was clearly homophobic, racist, and nasty towards him on the show,” one X user wrote. “I believe what he’s saying.”

The conversation spilled onto Threads, where one user posted, “I hate when people use religion to demonize people because they can’t control them and how they want them to act.”

A third chimed in: “Keke not checking her mother about her child and her house tells me all I need to know about the dynamics in that relationship.”

As of now, Keke Wyatt has not responded to her son’s claims.
