The Snoop Dogg Homophobia Allegations Drama Just Took an Unexpected Sharp Turn…

Snoop Dogg apologized for his previously insensitive comments…or at least that’s what we thought happened…

Just when you thought Snoop Dogg was ready to turn over a new leaf, here he is doubling down on yet another offensive statement. Folks have been accusing the west coast rapper of being “homophobic,” but it seems like now, he’s back to clarify some things.

Could the New Pope Be Black?

As we previously reported, Snoop found himself in hot water after going on a podcast and speaking about his recent experience with his grandson at the movie theaters. He called out the lesbian lead in the 2022 children’s film “Lightyear,” which he said he had to uncomfortably explain to his grandson.

“I’m scared to go to the movies now,” Snoop said. “Like, y’all throwing me in the middle of sh*t that I don’t have an answer for. He even claimed the experience “f****d me up” adding, “I didn’t come here for this shit. I just came to watch the goddamn movie.”

Soon, an apology allegedly from Snoop flooded the internet, which calmed fans down a bit. That was just one week ago, but now, his team said that apology didn’t even come from the “Gin and Juice” rapper himself.

The alleged apology was quite believable, having been posted to Snoop’s verified account… or so many people thought.

“I was just caught off guard and had no answer for my grandsons. All my gay friends [know] what’s up, they been calling me with love,” the fake apology read. “My bad for not knowing the answers for a 6-yr-old. Teach me how to learn. I’m not perfect.”

Despite the sympathetic comment being posted from Snoop’s real account, his people told Deadline those weren’t his words. “It is a fake,” a source close to Snoop said. It’s unclear who exactly posted the apology, but now, we know it wasn’t Snoop!

Still, folks responded to Snoop forgiving him and even agreeing with him. “You still the Biggest dog… and your opinion and actions where valid, how you choose to inform your grandkids is your choice,” @her_londonb said.

Another user, @johnny_saturn88, had a stronger response. “F**k that u said nothing wrong dog , they trying bully people in believing what they believe thats not right,” he wrote.

“This works can’t dictate how you choose to interact with your grandson,” @queenvh1 responded. “Nobody needs to teach you, but they need to respect you and whatever you feel about taking YOUR grandsons to the movies!!!
