Sponsored by Toyota, the evening was filled with rich conversation during two panel discussions with the theme “Shifting your focus.”

“These are always great opportunities to come together to talk about issues that really focus on our community,” says Donna Byrd, founding publisher at The Root. She continued, “Things that we’re struggling with as well as things that we’d like to celebrate.”

Following the two simultaneous panels, the evening came to close with an after-party and a two-step (courtesy of a live DJ).
