On Thursday, Donald Trump’s Georgia election subversion took a shocking turn when two top prosecutors testified about the nature of their romantic relationship. The hearing lasted all day, culminating with the testimony of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
Judge Scott McAfee convened the hearing about rumors of a relationship between Willis and Nathan Wade, whom Willis hired to be part of the prosecution team in 2021. On the stand, she raised objections, made legal arguments, had exchanges with the judge and reminded the courtroom she is the one not on trial.

In a reaction video from rapper Plies, he notes how Willis stood up for herself and that VP Kamala Harris could take some notes.
Hate From The Right
Black woman Republican Lauren Spicer bashed Willis’ testimony by stating: “The light Fani Willis put Black women in yesterday is just unbelievable. She tried to act all street and hood try get us on her side to cover up for her years of corruption.”
The Glaring Hypocrisy
Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett went in about Willis’ testimony, showing the glaring hypocrisy possessed by MAGA. “Trump has had countless wives, affairs, mistresses, committed sexual abuse, been found liable of fraud, is OLD too, impeached 2 times, and has 91 counts pending BUT there’s nothing to see. GTFOH! This is why I can’t take y’all seriously,” she wrote.

Matt Gaetz—who has been accused of sexual misconduct—went on X to say “Fani Willis had a day.” A user glibly responded: “I want Matt Gaetz to be questioned about his past relationships like Fani Willis was. Matt needs his day.”

Chief White House Correspondent at Today News Africa Simon Ateba implied that Willis lost control during her testimony, but asked his followers to decide.

Lebanese-American conservative activist Brigitte Gabriel used Willis’ testimony as an opportunity to call her out of her name. “It’s clear Fani Willis did not earn the job she has,” Gabriel wrote.
