13. Tony Parker

Former San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker is trying to sell off his Texas estate for $16.6 million, we previously reported. But while it’s still on the market, let’s talk about the 53-acre home which has an eight-pool water park and wine cellar. “My vision was to build something where I can host my family and my friends, and create memories,” Parker told the New York Post. “I like to host and when my friends come from France, you know it’s a long flight, so I wanted a place where they can come for long stays.”

Comedian Eddie Murphy’s $20 million home was first bought in 2001. But, after years of renovations and customizations, Murphy’s estate acts as his own palace in Zamunda! Located in Beverly Hills, the “Coming to America” actor’s home has 10 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, a tennis court and swimming pool, according to re-thinkingthefuture.com.
11. Kanye West

Last year, Kanye West bought a home in Beverly Hills with his wife, Bianca Censori, according to realtor.com The mansion, worth $35 million, has 11 bedrooms and 18 bathrooms. It was originally built in 2000 and has relatively the same tructure, although past owners have made renovations and adjustments over the years.

When you’re a living legend like LeBron James, you can do whatever you want, even if it means demolishing your $37 million mansion you just bought in 2020. Now, it seems he’s building a bigger and better one in its place. Construction on the property is currently underway after James secured the rights to build on the land following a legal battle, according to Fendlux. We’re not sure what James has in mind for the property yet, but whatever it is… it will surely be legendary!
9. Dr. Dre

Dr. Dre purchased his Brentwood mansion from NFL star Tom Brady back in 2014. Since then, the Los Angeles native has made it his own. With a chef’s kitchen, home gym, sauna, movie theater, library and seven fireplaces, Dre is certainly living his best life. The home is worth around $40 million, according to the Daily Mail.
8. Will Smith and Jada Pickett-Smith

It took over a decade for Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s Calabasas home to be completed. The couple met with Stephen Samuelson, a local architect who designed the home of one Smith’s former co-stars. That was in 1997. It took the couple four years to acquire the right permits and decide on a layout. In 2003, construction on the house finally started. It’s worth around $42 million, according to realtor.com. “It’s definitely a work in progress,” Pinkett-Smith told Architectural Digest. “Will and I were very young when we started the house, so it keeps on changing as we get older and understand how we really live in it. But whatever it becomes, the craftsmanship will always represent our union and the love of our family.”
7. Diddy

Despite his legal troubles, Diddy is stilling holding on to his Holmby Hills mansion in Los Angeles. He listed the property for sale, asking $61 million last year, but given all the bad press concerning the disgraced mogul awaiting sentencing on prostitution charges, experts say it’s not shocking no one has bought the home yet. This is one of Diddy’s two mansions raided by the Feds in 2024. The home includes a 35-seat movie theater, a grotto pool, a traditional pizza oven, a guesthouse with recording studio and more, we previously reported.
6. The Weeknd

Pop star The Weeknd dropped a pretty penny on his Bel Air mansion back in 2021. For $70 million, the “Gasoline” singer’s 33,000-square-foot home includes a music studio, gym, home theater and sauna, according to Architectural Digest. This purchase came just months after The Weeknd sold his former home to Madonna.
5. Tiger Woods

In 2006, golf legend Tiger Woods bought a home on 12 acres of land in Jupiter Island, Fla. But he soon knocked it all down to build an even better version for $80 million. It took about four years to finish his now 9,700- square-foot mansion which includes a gigantic theater room, an oxygen therapy room and a modern gym, according to Style Rave. Ironically, the completion of Woods’ project came the same year he and his ex-wife separated following the infamous cheating scandal.
4. Oprah Winfrey
In 2001, Oprah Winfrey purchased her home in the Montecito area of California for $50 million, but now, it’s estimated at around $90 million. Originally, the mansion was owned by Robert and Marlene Veloz. The estate was intended to be used for fundraising events, but after Winfrey made an irresistible offer to purchase the home, things certainly changed, according to the New York Post. Now, the Promised Land estate has six bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen, 10 fireplaces and a wine cellar.

For a man who owns a custom jet, it can’t be surprising that Drake’s real estate game is out of this world! His $100 million home in Bridle Path, Toronto is called The Embassy and was completed in 2020. Since then, the “God’s Plan” rapper has showed off many rooms in his estate, including a basketball court where Drake plays in his own league. There’s also a massive studio, toy room, shoe room and more.
2. Bryon Allen

In 2022, film producer Byron Allen made history after purchasing the most expensive home by an African American. His Malibu mansion in Paradise Cove, Calif. costs $100 million, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The 11,000-square-foot estate overlooks the Pacific Ocean and includes two guest rooms, a home theater and tennis court.

One year after Bryon Allen made history, Beyoncé and Jay-Z broke the record for the most expensive home purchase by a Black person. The power couple acquired their Malibu mansion in 2023 for a whopping $200 million. The 40,000-square-foot estate has a perfect view of the ocean and is an architectural anomaly. It was designed by Tadao Ando, the same guy responsible for Kanye West’s minimalist mansion. The estate is even shaped like the number four, a direct nod to the couple’s favorite number.
