But that’s exactly what Deidre Scaramucci, née Ball, did when she filed for divorce from her husband of three years, Anthony Scaramucci, the vulgar new White House communications director, while she was full with child.
The New York Post—which must have some kind of line to Ball’s people—reports that Deidre filed for divorce July 6 in Nassau County Supreme Court in New York. Sources say that the couple separated “five or six months ago.”
Deidre gave birth to a baby boy, James, on Monday, while her 53-year-old husband was in West Virginia with President Donald Trump during that disastrous Boy Scouts Jamboree speech.
While Anthony was having dinner with Trump and others in Washington on Wednesday night, Deidre was home on New York’s Long Island recovering from labor.
The Post reports that Deidre’s infant son, who was born two weeks before his Aug. 8 due date at 5 pounds, 13 ounces, was admitted Thursday to a neonatal intensive care unit.
The Mooch didn’t meet his son until Friday.
“When James was born, Scaramucci sent her a text saying, ‘Congratulations, I’ll pray for our child,’” said a source close to the situation.
Wow. And that is what “naked political ambition” looks like.
