When it comes to fashion, Former First Lady Michelle Obama never disappoints. Whether she’s rocking something off the rack from J. Crew or a designer dress from the latest Versace collection, she knows what looks best on her, and she’s not afraid to push the envelope. Her style has only become edgier since she left the White House.
Mrs. Obama’s time as First Lady may be over, but she’s still serving lewks everywhere she goes, including while she addresses the crowd at the Democratic National Convention. While we always love to hear what she has to say, we’re just as excited to see what she’s going to wear. Accessories are everything with this monochromatic turquoise look Mrs. Obama wore for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote “The Light We Carry.” From the flower on her lapel down to those silver slingbacks, no detail was missed.

You know she can dress up. But it’s rare we get to see the Former First Lady dress down. We’re living for this satin wide-legged pant and sneakers she wore in New York City in 2023.
Doing it in Denim
For her book tour stop in D.C., Mrs. Obama rocked a denim on denim look from the Ganni Resort 2023 collection that was casually chic. But when it comes to this look, it was the red patent boot for me.

Mrs. Obama proved she’s not afraid of color in this custom eggplant two-piece suit and sequin bustier at an Atlanta stop on her “Becoming” book tour back in 2019.

The always fashion-forward former First Lady brought the heat when she sat down with Sara Jessica Parker at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, NY in 2019. The yellow Balenciaga gown was stunning, but the thigh-high gold Balenciaga boots stole the show.
Pretty in Pink
If there’s one thing I can say about Michelle Obama, ya girl can rock a pantsuit. And the pink suit she wore at the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif gave me life.
Wearing White Well
All-white is not for everyone. But Mrs. Obama looks flawless in a white wide-legged jumpsuit at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
