Gibson & The Kingdom Choir announced that theyโ€™ll be releasing their debut album with the label on Nov. 2. They havenโ€™t started recording for the album but their version of โ€œStand By Meโ€ will be included.

โ€œThe Kingdom Choir are absolutely delighted with the journey of the past few months! Itโ€™s been a roller coaster, but we wouldnโ€™t have it any other way โ€” first, the honor of being able to sing at the Royal Wedding, and then the thrill of being signed to Sony!โ€ conductor Gibson told Billboard. โ€œItโ€™s like an un-dreamt dream โ€” one that you wouldnโ€™t even consider because you never thought it could happen to you.โ€

COO of Sony Music U.K., Nicola Tuer, is extremely excited to work with the choir and knew she wanted to partner with them when she saw their performance at the wedding.

โ€œWe are absolutely thrilled to have signed The Kingdom Choir to Sony. Along with the rest of the world, we were stunned by their incredible performance at The Royal Wedding, so we jumped at the chance to sign them,โ€ Tuer said to Billboard.

Congrats to the choir! They bought some soul to the royal wedding and now have received the ultimate blessing.
