Gird your loins and secure those wigs because New York City’s legendary ballroom scene is about to twirl back into your lives with 10 new episodes.

Season 2 brings you back to the city in 1990, on the heels of the ballroom community establishing itself in pop culture and going mainstream. The House of Evangelista has been through some shit, but last season they came out victorious, and this season, they’re tasked to reevaluate their goals. Meanwhile, through all the glitz and glamour, the AIDS crisis worsens and the reaction from a group of activists reaches a fever pitch.

Not only is Pose coming back, but the show is finally receiving its rightful accolades after recently being snubbed at the NAACP Image Awards.

That’s right, my good Judies have been nominated for a Peabody Award. It sucks that this amazing work, that features the largest cast of transgender actors in series regular roles, did not get recognized by our community, but it shows that there is still work to be done.
