A search warrant affidavit revealed Corey Williams, who admitted to being the getaway driver, identified Fabian Johnson as one of the two people caught on video abducting White on July 11. Williams said Johnson was the one who chased the boy’s father (who doubled-down on fleeing instead of saving his son) into his home, while a second gunman forced White in a Jeep Renegade before speeding away.

After an Amber Alert was issued, the boy was found unharmed the next day, but not before the suspects called the boy’s mother first. According to a complaint, Williams told authorities he, Johnson, and a 14-year-old boy planned to rob White’s mother, Shavon Williams, whom the trio suspected was a “well-known drug dealer and flaunted money.”

When Shavon was not at home, the trio decided to rob White’s father instead, per reports.

The criminal complaint said Johnson, 38, called the boy’s mother the same night of the kidnapping to demand $100,000 and jewelry in exchange for the boy’s safe return. According to phone records, nearly 40 *67 calls were made to Shavon between 7:33 p.m. July 11 and 2:39 a.m. July 12.

WTMJ-TV reports Shavon never showed up at the planned meeting spot. The boy teared up when telling authorities how his mother never came to get him. The outlet reports Shavon was uncooperative and impeded their investigation.

Last week, Williams was charged with Kidnapping as a Party to a Crime, Taking Hostages as Party to a Crime and Intent to Contribute to the Delinquency of a Child. If convicted on all charges, Williams could face more than 120 years behind bars. Johnson faces one count of kidnapping by seizing or confining without consent, as party to a crime.

As far as the 14-year-old, prosecutors want his case moved to adult court, which will be ultimately up to a judge. In court, the teen suspect’s mother spoke: “I would just like him to come home,” she said.

Milwaukee County Court Commissioner Katryna Childs Rhodes told the teenager how he stands before her “presumed innocent,” but called the allegations against him “incredibly serious, scary” and “terrifying.” She added: “And it allegedly happened while you were possessing a weapon. All of that is incredibly dangerous. I don’t feel safe releasing you out into the community at this time.”
