The Toronto MC included a lot of never-behind-the-scenes footage that will shock even longtime fans of the pop star.

Drake has captured the attention of the internet yet again with the release of more than 100GB of unreleased content from his past 15 years of making music, titling it, “100GIGSFORYOURHEADTOP.”

These never-before-seen files include every type of content you can imagine. Footage of the Toronto MC making some of his most iconic tracks, unused album art concepts, and other fun stuff that gives the public an even deeper look into the 6 God’s life.

Here are some of the most interesting things we saw in the files.

Song about Serena Williams

In this video file, taken before the release of “Views,” Drake is seen talking to his mom about the track, “Too Good,” and shares that the track is about Serena Williams. The two reportedly dated for a short while in 2011

Ping pong with Stephen Curry

From the looks of both Drake and Stephen Curry, this video looks like it was taken between 2015 and 2017. The two have been such good friends that the Toronto MC even got Curry’s jersey tattooed on him.

Rihanna rehearsal footage

This footage shows Drake and Rihanna rehearsing for a live performance of the hit song, “Take Care.” If you recall, Drizzy takes shots at her baby daddy, A$AP Rocky, on “Family Matters.”

Making of “Hotline Bling”

Drake explains the inspiration for his 2015 hit, “Hotline Bling,” saying that the phone of a girl he was in a relationship with would always be blowing up, so he saved her name in his phone as “Hotline Bling.”

“For All the Dogs” concept art

Drake is infamous for having some of the worst album art known to man, so it’s cool to see some of the other horrific ideas he had for album covers. This one is not too bad, but feels a little outdated.

”Certified Lover Boy” concept art

Why didn’t Drake choose this cover for “CLB.” The original cover is one of the worst in recent memory. This one is easily more elegant and pleasant to look at.

”Certified Lover Boy” concept art (Pt. 2)

Who would’ve thought that the already bad “Certified Lover Boy” cover could even get worse? Almost looks like a parody of what a Drake album cover would look like. Thank god he didn’t choose this one.

”Her Loss” concept art

The original cover art for the 2022 collaboration album isn’t terrible, just lazy. This one isn’t great either, so it seems they just went for the one that would get the most eyes.

”Dark Lane Demo Tapes” concept art

This concept art not only reveals what could’ve been the cover art for the Toronto MC’s 2020 mixtape, it also shows that it was almost called “Care Packages 2″ with a different tracklist.

”HOUSEKEEPING KNOWS”

Even with all the unseen footage, most people were excited about the new music we’d get from Drake. This particular track is a song featuring Atlanta rapper Latto.

”BLUE GREEN RED”

This track is a song featuring Young Thug, likely before he was indicted on RICO charges in Atlanta.

”IT’S UP”

This track featuring 21 Savage has garnered the most conversation on social media. Fans speculated that Savage was dissing Kendrick Lamar when he said, “Made a couple songs think he hot now/Hit his a** up he think he Pac now.” But during a conversation with DJ Akademiks, 21’s manager revealed that that wasn’t the case.

Drake and Cam’ron

Some of the most recent footage Drake shared was this video of him on the phone with Cam’ron after he received his infamous pink coat for his performance at the Apollo Theater in New York City.

Recording Kanye West reference track

During his beef with Pusha T, Drake alluded that he wrote for Kanye in the past o, “Duppy Freestyle,” so seeing the Toronto MC recording a reference track for Ye shouldn’t be a shock.

Drake and Jay-Z

The story of how the song came together is legendary, so it’s cool to see Drake and his time excited just moments before they got Hov’s verse for the track, “Talk Up.”
