Teyana Taylor Wins Her First Golden Globe
Teyana Taylor had viewers in tears as she won the nomination for best supporting actress in a motion picture for “One Battle After Another.” Sobbing as she accepted her award, Taylor delivered a powerful statement: “To my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight, our softness is not a liability,” she said. “Our depth is not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine. We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space.”
Snoop Dogg Presents Best Podcast
Gracing the stage in high spirits, Snoop Dogg presented the Golden Globe Award for Best Podcast to actress Amy Poehler for her “Good Hang” podcast. “I’m high as a motherf*cker right now,” the rapper said. “Y’all had me here too damn long.”
The “Baby Mama” actress accepted the honor with a laugh, joking with the audience about Snoop Dogg as her presenter. “Wow, this is exactly how I pictured it: Snoop giving me the award,” she joked when accepting the award.
Wanda Sykes’ Hilarious Presentation

Wanda Skyes became an unexpected highlight of the show by using her platform to honor Renee Nicole Good, the woman who was fatally shot by ICE, but ensured it was a memorable moment for all audience members. Before announcing the winner for Best Performance in Stand-Up, she went down the line roasting each nominee. Starting with Kevin Hart, she called him “the richest guy in the category, but also the one who wants it the most,” adding that this makes him a “true American.”
And the jokes didn’t stop there. She took a jab at actor Ricky Gervais, saying if he won, she would accept the award for him and have him thank “God and the trans community,” which was a clear shot at his previous anti-trans comments. Social media has been buzzing about her presentation, making it a major highlight of the evening.
“Sinners” Wins Cinematic and Box Office Achievement

Although fans were anticipating a bigger win in the Drama category, Ryan Coogler and the “Sinners” cast proudly took the win for Best Cinematic and Box Office Achievement. Following heartfelt acknowledgements from his wife and producer, Zinzi Evans, Ryan shared a few words, reminding the viewers that while they look “glammed out” tonight, the cast worked incredibly hard filming in the New Orleans swamps. He thanked the audience for “showing up” for an original story and for the film’s box-office success, which raked in nearly $370 million. A win is a win!
Stephen Graham Takes Home A Win
In a long-overdue moment, actor Stephen Graham has finally taken home the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Limited Series/Anthology/TV Movie for his role in Netflix’s “Adolescence.” The win marked a major milestone for the veteran actor, who has previously opened up about his challenges of growing up as a child of mixed Jamaican and Swedish heritage and being bullied in his youth.
Graham built a successful career known for raw, commanding roles in British films and TV, including a standout role in “Gangs of New York.” At the end of his speech, he had a fanout moment after spotting Queen Latifah in the audience.
