I’m writing this from my hotel room in New York City, where I’ve been since Tuesday evening and will be until Friday. I’m in town to attend The Root 100 gala Thursday night, but I’m here early to meet with my agent (and possibly my editor), hang out with some friends and visit the GMG office.
He’s been in office less than a week and he’s already wreaking havoc.
Nowhere does the question “What’s the next step?” carry more significance than in black America. Safe to say that most black voters feel like Tom Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow, repeatedly slain by aliens on a violent beachhead one day and repeatedly waking up the next in a dopey haze of “Did that just happen?”
