Lean into love: the Obamas at the inaugural ball Getty Images
On Friday, Southside With You hit theaters, and this film is giving us a chance to see the first date between President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama that led to their beautiful love story. And ever since we met the senator-turned-president, we've looked on with admiration at him and the love he has for his wife, our queen, Michelle Obama. (We've definitely cast an admiring eye on her, too!)
It's already impressive enough that Barack Obama has been the leader of the free world for the last eight years, but it's even more impressive that he and Michelle are able to keep their unbreakable bond and create #Goals for us all. Check out these lovely photos of the epitome of black love. (Grab a tissue; it gets way too cute!)
