Just hours after Stacey Dash formally announced that she would run for Congress, the actress, former Fox News pundit and current Miss Sunken Place pageant queen made it clear that sheโs โnot here to judgeโ neo-Nazis.

In an appearance on MSNBC on Thursday, the New York Daily News reports, host Ari Melber asked Dash if she agreed with President Donald Trumpโs assessment that there was โblame on both sidesโ following a deadly August 2017 white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Va.
โI think heโs absolutely right,โ Dash replied.
โIโm not here to judge; the only one who can judge is God,โ she went on. โDo I know every person in the neo-Nazi party, if they have a good heart or not? No, I do not.โ
She then compared neo-Nazis to gang members and felons.
โDo I know every member of a gang, whether they have a good heart or not? No, I donโt. Do I know every man in prison, if he has a good heart or not? No,โ she added.
โBoth sides had a right,โ Dash repeated about the Charlottesville neo-Nazis and counterprotesters, โbut there were both extremes.โ
Maybe Dash is right.
On second thought, not wanting a literal parade of tiki-torch-wielding neo-Nazis in your town is a pretty wild stance. And how could you possibly know the heart of someone who says something like, โFor us, it is conquer or die. This is a unique burden for the white manโ? (That was Richard Spencer, by the way.)
How could you possibly know the inner life of someone who thinks a German dictator who committed mass genocide had a pretty good point? Who are we to judge a man who would rather ram his car into a crowd of people than accept being a minority in this country?
Certainly not Ms. Dash.
This newfound compassion is quite an about-face for the woman vowing to be a โcatalyst for changeโ in Californiaโs 44th District. Dash has a long history of serving up her unwanted opinions on her blog and on Fox News, and had no reservations about judging others prior to this interview.
Sheโs repeatedly spoken out against former President Barack Obama. In 2016, while attending the Conservative Political Action Conference, Dash said that Obama โbamboozled us.โ
โI think we all got blacked into it, โ she said, according to Essence.
She wasnโt too concerned about knowing Jesse Williamsโ heart, either, when she called the actor a โperfect example of a Hollywood plantation slaveโ in a 2016 blog post after he spoke at the BET Awards.
โThe fact that you were standing on that stage at THOSE awards tells people you really donโt know what your talking about. Just spewing hate and anger,โ Dash said, doling out harsher words to the Greyโs Anatomy actor than she could muster giving to violent white supremacists.
Nor did Dash much care what was in the hearts of transgender activists fighting for their right to use the correct bathroom.
โOK, then go in the bushes,โ Dash said, also in 2016 (a real landmark year for knowing peopleโs hearts, I suppose). โI donโt know what to tell you, but Iโm not gonna put my childโs life at risk because you want to change a law,โ Dash added, bringing up a long-held but completely false belief that trans people pose a danger to children.
And Dash couldnโt find a word to mince when blogging about Black Lives Matter. Not only did she feel completely at home mocking one organizer, Aaron Goggans, for saying that black-on-black crime was a myth, but she also delivered a categorical condemnation of BLMโdespite not knowing their hearts: โBlack Lives Matter is really a racist [movement] by definitionโproviding a value based on the color of someones [sic] skin is Racist.... PERIOD!โ
Wait till she finds out what white nationalists believe.
Editorโs note: A previous version of this post incorrectly referred to Jesse Williams as a former Greyโs Anatomy actor.
