After being ousted from her position by President Donald Trump last month, former Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem found herself at the center of national attention this week after reports that her husband, Bryon Noem, allegedly lives a double life.
According to the Daily Mail, Bryon paid adult entertainers on several occasions and cross-dressed while role-playing. The outlet shared a series of photos and messages that seemed to confirm the scandal. In response, Noem told the New York Post her family was completely “blindsided” by the allegations.
Pam Bondi Gets Fired
Noem isn’t the only person in Trump’s orbit having a bad week. This Thursday (April 2), reports began circulating that the president would be removing Pam Bondi from her role as Attorney General, as we previously told you.
Trump later confirmed Bondi would be “transitioning” to a “private sector” role in an April 2 post on Truth Social. He wrote, “Pam did a tremendous job overseeing a massive crackdown in Crime across our Country, with Murders plummeting to their lowest level since 1900.” Trump announced that Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche would replace Bondi as acting AG.
Jay-Z Returns

Rap legend Jay-Z is officially making his return to the stage to headline the 2026 Roots Picnic festival. If that wasn’t enough, the anniversaries of two of his greatest albums, “The Blueprint” and “Reasonable Doubt,” are also coming up, which prompted the announcement of a three-day residency at Yankee Stadium in his hometown of New York City this summer.
Trump’s War Against Iran Rages

In a primetime address to the nation this week, President Trump promised the war in Iran is nearing the end. The Root reported that the war began on Feb. 28 after Trump teamed up with Israel to perform a military strike against the Middle Eastern country.
So far, at least 13 American troops have died during the conflict. On Friday (April 3), Reuters reported that a U.S. F-15E fighter jet was shot down over Iran. A crew member was rescued by American forces.
Gucci Mane Kidnapping

Rapper Pooh Sheisty and several others have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged kidnapping of Atlanta icon Gucci Mane. As we previously reported, Gucci was robbed at gunpoint inside a Dallas studio back in January. Pooh Shiesty– real name Lontrell Williams Jr.– his father– Lontrell Williams Sr.– and several others allegedly orchestrated the plot to force a contract release. During the robbery, the suspects allegedly ran off with jewelry and cash.
Tiger Woods’ DUI Arrest

Authorities in Florida arrested and charged legendary golfer Tiger Woods following a rollover crash on March 27. The athlete was already recovering from multiple injuries and back surgery at the time of the incident. But this isn’t the first time the golfer has been involved in a serious crash. His history dates back to 2009, according to USA Today’s Golfweek. Woods took a plea following a reckless driving incident in 2017. In 2021, another accident left him seriously injured.
Body camera footage from Woods’ arrest has since been released to the public. Woods can be heard trying to call President Trump in the aftermath of the crash.
Florida Vice Mayor Killed
As we previously told you Florida police were called to conduct a wellness check on Coral Springs vice mayor Metayer Bowen when they found her dead body inside her home. Her husband, 40-year-old Stephen Bowen, was arrested and booked on murder and evidence tampering charges.
Bowen was elected as the first-ever Black and Haitian American female city commissioner. In 2024, she was reelected and later appointed to serve as vice mayor.
ICE Deployed to Help TSA

We previously reported that hundreds of TSA workers have gone without work and thousands without pay, after Congress has repeatedly failed to agree to fund the Department of Homeland Security. President Trump’s solution was to send in ICE to 14 of the busiest airports for “crowd control.”
TSA workers began receiving their paychecks on March 30 after Trump signed an executive order to pay the thousands of airport employees.
Woman Tries to Run 2 Chainz Off the Road

Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz posted a clip of an unidentified woman pulling up next to him while at a red light and cursing him out, The Root previously reported. In the video, you can hear and see the woman scream at the rapper and even flip him the bird. Chainz also shared that the woman tried to run him off the road.
Amber Rose Gives White Folks N-Word Pass

Liberal-turned-MAGA supporter Amber Rose told folks during Nick Cannon’s YouTube series that white people should be allowed to say the N-word. “It’s very different,” she explained. “You know if somebody says the hard ‘R’ and they’re pointing at you, is very different than rap lyrics, or saying, ‘That’s my n*gga, that’s my homie.’”
NBA Player Fired Over Anti-Gay Rant

Chicago Bulls guard Jaden Ivey was cut from the team after the 24-year-old went on several anti-LGBTQ+ rants on his social media, we told you. “The world proclaims LGBTQ, right? They proclaim Pride Month and the NBA does, too. They show it to the world. They say, ‘Come join us for Pride Month to celebrate unrighteousness.’ They proclaim it on the billboards. They proclaim it on the streets. Unrighteousness,” Ivey declared.
Supreme Court Hears Birthright Citizenship Case

This week, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on President Trump’s attempt to axe birthright citizenship– a key clause of the 14th Amendment, which granted citizenship to the descendants of slavery, among other groups. Several justices, including Ketanji Brown Jackson, expressed skepticism surrounding Trump’s interpretation of the law.
Outrage to Druski Skit
This week, MAGA was in an uproar after comedian Druski dropped a skit all about conservative women in the U.S., we told you. Although he never named any of his references, which inspired the skit, folks quickly pointed to Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk, which even prompted President Trump to encourage her to sue Druski.
