Vice President Mike Pence, who once whined that there was “far too much of this talk of institutional bias or racism within law enforcement,” left the game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Francisco 49ers after about 23 members of the 49ers took a knee during the national anthem.

Former 49er quarterback Colin Kaepernick began taking a knee last year to protest police brutality. But Pence, like the asshat he works for, has insisted on making the protest about disrespecting the military, the flag and the country.
