Singer Bobby Rogers, who was a member of the hit Motown group Smokey Robinson and the Miracles, died Sunday morning in his Southfield, Mich., home at age 73, the Urban Daily reports. Along with Robinson, Claudette Rogers, Pete Moore and Ronnie White, Bobby Rogers founded the group in 1956, and soon they had a series of hits, including "Shop Around," "The Tracks of My Tears" and "I Second That Emotion."

Robinson said in a statement: "Another soldier in my life has fallen. Bobby Rogers was my brother and a really good friend. He and I were born on the exact same day in the same hospital in Detroit. I am really going to miss him. I loved him very much."
