An Los Angeles singer is calling for folks to boycott Gold’s Gym after a heated exchange led to her membership being revoked. Tish Hyman said she was minding her business inside the women’s locker room before she started raising concerns about a “man” using the wrong facility.

In fact, Hyman said multiple women made complaints about the alleged intruder. But when the issues were taken to the gym’s staff, nothing was done. So, the singer took it upon herself to call out the alleged harasser and expose them on social media.
“This man coming in our women’s locker room harassing us,” she said of the accused, who was wearing all black and a pair of dangling earrings. Hyman posted a video of her confronting the person to social media. In the footage, the singer can be heard arguing with the other gym member after she claimed they were bothering other women in the locker room.
“We already filed reports,” she continued in the video. “I’m a woman and I have every right not to want a man in the restroom when I’m naked! There are girls naked in there!” Hyman added. She went as far as to claim the gym member called her a “b*tch” multiple times.
Everything came to a head, however, when Hyman said she “made noise” about the alleged issue. The women reportedly screamed “there’s a man in the women’s locker room,” disrupting the entire gym. In the video, the accused can be seen walking back into the women’s locker room, but just when you thought the madness was over, Hyman said eventually, the staff did step in.
The person was reportedly removed from the gym… And as far as Hyman? Well, Gold’s Gym terminated her membership on the spot and also kicked her out. She said it felt “as if I was being punished for speaking up,” TMZ reported. In another video, she announced from inside the gym that her membership had been revoked, blaming it all on “grown men with big d***s in the women’s locker room.”
The original video now has 4.7 million views on X. Hyman continued defending her actions, and many folks online praised her for standing up. “They [the alleged harasser] had no business in that locker room with those women, and I hate that they had to experience that,” @lifestyleofcs wrote defending the singer. “Ms. Hyman was visibly hurt by this.”
Still, others called Hyman out for negating the gym’s guidelines. “What’s missing from this narrative is that her membership was terminated for filming her IN the women’s locker room, posting it to her Instagram, and airdropping it to other people at the gym,” @alexaldente said. “She wasn’t terminated for voicing her discomfort but obviously facts don’t matter!!”
Gold’s Gym does not have a set policy regarding genders inside of their locker rooms. The company has not responded to the now viral interaction.
