According to EURweb.com, Rodney King is engaged to Cynthia Kelly, 44, one of the jurors in his civil suit against the LAPD that resulted in a $3.8 million settlement in 1994. King and Kelly met at a pizzeria the day following the verdict, and “sparks” flew. Both were married at the time, so they didn’t act on it. King, who separated from his wife just before his stint on VH-1’s Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew for an addiction to PCP, called Kelly and found that she was also single. Love took over for the couple, who had not seen each other in years. It seems that neither justice nor love is blind in this case.
