Oraโ€™s lawsuit argued that the changes affected her career and essentially made her contract with the company null and void. She wanted out of her management agreement.

According to TMZ, Roc Nationโ€”an entity spearheaded by Jay Zโ€”is returning the gesture in kind. Itโ€™s suing Oraโ€”the report doesnโ€™t say specifically for how muchโ€”because it claims that she was obligated to release five albums and sheโ€™s released only one.ย

The companyโ€™s lawsuit indicated that it had shelled out more than $2 million to promote Oraโ€™s second album, which never came out, and that it wants that money back.

But according to TMZ, Howard King, Oraโ€™s attorney, says that Jay Z agreed to release Ora from her contractโ€”which has TMZย reporting that it thinksย Roc Nation will likely rescind its lawsuit.ย
