After 11 years of marriage, the power couple confirmed they are officially calling it quits. According to People, Burruss issued a heartfelt statement addressing the split:

“After deep thought and a lot of prayer, I’ve made the decision to move forward with a divorce. This is a difficult and emotional time, but my focus remains on protecting my peace, being the best mother I can be, and co-parenting with love and respect,” Burruss told PEOPLE.

She continued, “I’m stepping into a new chapter pouring into my work, my family, and my own growth. I’m grateful to everyone who supported us throughout the years, and I ask for privacy, grace, and understanding as we navigate this transition with our family.”

Fans followed their love story from the beginning, watching it blossom from the set of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” where Kandi, 49, met Todd, 52, behind the scenes during production. The two announced their engagement in January 2013 and exchanged vows that April in a Bravo-televised five-part special, “Kandi’s Wedding.”

Together, they welcomed two children: son Ace, 9, and daughter Blaze, 5. They also each have older children from previous relationships: Kandi’s daughter, Riley, 20, and Todd’s daughter, Kaela, 26.

The couple was featured on an episode of OWN’s Black Love, where Tucker explained that Burress was intentional about their relationship flourishing into marriage.

Over the years, the couple not only built a loving relationship but also became a power couple. The pair has launched a restaurant chain across Atlanta, including their famous Old Lady Gang restaurant, a trucking business, and a Bravo reality show series based on their family and business dynamics, among other successful collaborations.

In recent weeks, rumors began circulating online after fans noticed Burruss quietly removed “Tucker” from her Instagram profile

On Nov. 14, Burruss accepted the Wifetime Achievement Award at The Bravos during BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas and thanked Tucker in her acceptance speech.

“To Todd, thank you for surviving the blogs, the shade, the rumors, the lies, the truth, the almost fights, the actual fights, the reunions,” Burress said in her speech. “You earned this award too.”

According to The Sun, fans were side-eyeing her Wifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech, tearfully saying, “appreciates all the support, especially now,” which had people wondering if there was trouble in marital paradise.

“Mama Joyce is breaking out her good wig tonight,” one TikTok user wrote.

“The scheme that Todd set up has finally come to an end,” another user wrote.
