They say second time’s the charm and that definitely seems to be the case when it comes to former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Eva Marcille and her ex-husband Michael Sterling. And folks online are absolutely here for it!

If you were an avid watcher of the franchise by the time Marcille made her debut as a friend of the show in season 10 in 2017 and an official “peach holder” the following year, then you got a glimpse into the early stages of their relationship. Their love story began in 2016 but it would take two more years for them to officially join hands in marriage after welcoming their first child together in April 2018.
While their journey wasn’t without it’s own set of issues, Marcille and Sterling seemed to have things figured out and had portrayed a positive, united front.
That’s exactly why fans were shocked and surprised when the “America’s Next Top Model” winner filed for divorce in 2023, citing irreconcilable differences. Per court documents at the time, Marcille said that their union was “irretrievably broken” and that the two of them were “currently living in a bona fide state of separation.”
She also filed for primary custody of their three children (one of which she had from a previous relationship). However, Sterling wasn’t so quick to give up on their marriage, saying to press not too long after their divorce that he planned on fighting for it and that he was going to “get his wife back.”
Now, fast forward to 2025, and it appears the two of them have finally found their way back to each other. Fans of Marcille first got a clue that things between her and Sterling were on the up and up when she posted a video on Instagram of the two of them down in New Orleans for this year’s ESSENCE Festival of Culture in July. A month later, fans got another positive sign after Marcille posted a congratulatory post for Sterling on her page in honor of his new business venture.
“My Love I could not be more proud of you @miketsterling,” she said at the time.
She then followed it up with another post of the two of them which features a screenshot of them smiling with the caption: “Forever Sterlings.”
Seeing this as a positive sign, many fans took to the comments section to congratulate the two on their reconciliation and express their happiness on seeing their union get back on track.
“Im smiling hard af!!!! I love this for them! Look at that glow on both of their faces,”wrote one user.
“That man told us he’d be getting his wife back. Love it,” wrote another.
Added another user: “To God be the glory! Black love is a precious commodity for our culture. May God continue to cover and keep you all. Sending lots of love and heartfelt congratulations.”
