Raven-Symoné is opening up about a past relationship and what led to its dissolution. But perhaps even more interesting is that she’s revealing where they stand today and the interesting thing she was asked in the aftermath of their breakup.

Speaking in a new interview on SiriusXM’s “Jeff Lewis Live” podcast, the “That’s So Raven” star divulged about the seven year relationship she had with a male star way back when. While she declined to name him or give an exact timeline of when she and this person were together, she did reveal what ultimately led to their relationship falling apart.
“In our community he’s pretty well-known. Like, in the community that he works in. He’s pretty OK,” she said, slightly taken aback at the topic of conversation.
She later continued: “We were together for a really long time and he got another girl pregnant. And the best part of it was, he asked me to be the godmother of the kid. And we’re still in communication now, he’s been through a lot. So there’s nothing but love and respect for all that he’s gone through and his family. But he still talks about it all the time. Dumbass.”
Naturally, once the clip hit the internet, many were quick to try to figure out the identity of the mystery ex. Most guesses landed on her former “That’s So Raven” costar Orlando Brown, who has a history of talking about his alleged romantic involvement with Raven…though his account should be taken with a grain of salt given his own history of saying some truly outlandish things.
Still, whoever it is has to know that stepping out on your girlfriend just to end up getting another woman pregnant is already bad enough. But to take things even further by asking your girlfriend to be your child’s godmother is beyond even the basic levels of egregiousness. I see why she doesn’t talk about that part of her life anymore, that too much weird and wild drama to keep rehashing.
