A man was injured Tuesday night outside the Trump International Hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C., after he attempted to set himself on fire, NBC Washington reports. According to the report, the man said the act was one of protest over the tweeter in chief, President-elect Donald Trump.

Police responded to a call about a person “in distress,” the station notes, and D.C. Fire and Rescue confirmed that one person was taken to the hospital with burn injuries.

As WUSA-TV notes, earlier Tuesday night, several protesters tied up rush-hour traffic in downtown D.C. before holding the anti-Trump protest outside the hotel.

Tens of thousands of protesters are expected to show up and show out for Trump’s inauguration Friday.
