The irony sailed right by an unidentified man who was attending a rally in support of the Confederate flag at State Mountain Park in Georgia, Raw Story reports.

A video, posted to YouTube, opens with the man arguing about his constitutional right to voice his opinion before walking away. The person filming the exchange, identified as George Chidi of Neon Flag, quickly weaves through the small crowd to get to the man to inquire about his shoes.

โ€œI just wanted to mention, I didnโ€™t know if you were aware, I know you came here with the Ku Klux Klan or whatever,โ€ Chidi says, a claim the man begins to vehemently deny before Chidi continues. โ€œThe only thing that I wanted to mention is that the shoes that youโ€™re wearing โ€ฆ โ€

โ€œWhatโ€™s the matter with the shoes Iโ€™m wearing?โ€ the man interrupts again, pointing out that they are โ€œred and black and white.โ€

โ€œThe brand FUBU, it stands for โ€˜For Us, By Us,โ€™โ€ Chidi attempts to explain, pointing outย that the brand was created by black people to empower the community.

The man, however, refuses to see the point.

โ€œThem shoes that you probably wore was designed by a white man back in the 1920s,โ€ the man counters. โ€œBut does that make you stop wearing them shoes because the white man designed them? I donโ€™t care if a black man designed my shoes.โ€

โ€œI just find it interesting,โ€ Chidi says.

โ€œI donโ€™t hate you. I tried to say that a while ago. I hate not you, but I hate what your people are doing to this country,โ€ the man insists.
