In a November 10 TikTok, the 27-year-old admitted that after years of drug use, she’s dealt with having a “really loud whistle” when she breathes through her nose since she was 20 – an annoying result of having a perforated septum.

“I can actually stick a spaghetti noodle and do that with it,” Jackson said, while pretending to thread a noodle between her nostrils.

According to The Cleveland Clinic, a perforated septum is a hole in the cartilage or bone in between your nostrils. In addition to injuries and infections like tuberculosis, the condition can be caused by exposure to harmful chemicals and inhaling cocaine.

Jackson didn’t try to sugarcoat what caused the hole in her nose and shared a candid warning to her fans.

“That is from what you think it’s from,” Jackson said. “Don’t do drugs, kids.”

Jackson went on to explain that she’s decided to live with the perforated septum, making the decision not to undergo plastic surgery to fix the problem because she didn’t want to have to take painkillers, as she’s been celebrating six years sober.

Jackson’s post has received tons of comments from viewers who congratulated her for having the courage to share her story on social media.

“Your vulnerability is amazing. Congratulations on your sobriety and your commitment to stay sober,” wrote one commenter.

Another TikTok user assured Jackson that her father Michael Jackson, the iconic artist who passed away in 2009 at age 50 from acute propofol intoxication, would be rooting for her on her journey to sobriety.

“Ur still a beautiful young lady…,” wrote someone else online. “ur dad will be proud of u…❤.”
