Jonathan Capehart is fired up because former Memphis mayor Willie Herenton, who is African American, said recently that Rep. Steve Cohen, who is white, was "trying to act black." He also said that primary voters "need to come off that Cohen plantation and get on the Herenton freedom train." Herenton is trying to unseat Cohen in Tennessee. Capehart says he's race-baiting, and even the CBC is giving Cohen money. Who would have thought? One of the "blackest white folks we know" accused of "acting black."
