DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FORTHURSDAY, MAY 31, 2012

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office.  This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and First Lady will meet for lunch with Former President George W. Bush and Former First Lady Laura Bush in the Red Room. Former President George H.W. Bush and Former First Lady Barbara Bush and family members will also attend. This lunch is closed press.

Afterwards, the President and First Lady will welcome Former President George W. Bush and Former First Lady Laura Bush to the White House for the official unveiling of their portraits. The Vice President, as well as former President George H.W. Bush and Former First Lady Barbara Bush will also attend. This ceremony is open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Treasury Secretary Geithner in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
