While Choppa seems to be confident in his skin, some on social media werenβt cool with what the βShottaβ flow rapper was allegedly doing.
One user on X wrote in a quote tweet, βthe gay baiting is seriously out of control now.β
While thousands of people liked the posts, other people disagreed with the sentiment. One person wrote in response, βI donβt mind; heβs honest and actually supports the community. Letβs keep it a buck, if youβre a man with an onlyfans, your primary audience is gay ni***s. At least he acknowledges and respects the girls that pay his bills.β
Another person commented, βWhy do yβall be thinking this is gay baiting? Yall take shit the wrong way.β
After a while, the man himself caught wind of the harsh criticism, writing in response, βNever been gay baiting. Itβs me showing freedom. Anything now a days is called gay or itβs baiting. In reality Iβm comfortable enough, and have the upmost confidence in how good God designed me head to toe. Call me what you want but a straight man comfortable in my skin, I AM.β
He later expanded on his response, saying in a video, βI really donβt care, and I think thatβs the problem. I think I donβt care so much that itβs like a disconnect. Itβs like since I donβt care so much and I know who I am so much, I just feel like narratives get painted because I donβt care so much. So I just wanted to clear the narrative first. Do not say that Iβm a gay baiter because Iβm comfortable enough to show off the perfection that God has orchestrated over my physical, my mental, my spiritual and even my emotions.β
Choppa continued, βI am not a gay baiter because I post a selfie in the mirror showing off how beautiful I am. I am not a gay baiter if I post a picture showing off how much God has blessed me from below the waist with something that got women going crazy. I am not a gay baiter because in my Playgirl shoot I showed a piece of my a**. I canβt show a piece of my own ass without being called a name? Itβs my a**!β
These gay-baiting allegations arenβt new for Choppa. HeΒ engaged in provocative photoshoots last year and was criticized for his lyrics on the 2024 song βSlut Me Out 2,β where he says, βIf I was a bad b***h, Iβd wanna f**k me too/Iβd wanna suck me too.β
