It appears a βbattle of the Barbzβ is brewing between Nicki Minaj and one of her highly vocal fans. According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Monday, the βGag Cityβ rapper is being sued by a longtime fan named Tameer Peak over allegations of βreputational harm, emotional distress and financial loss.β Heβs seeking $5 million in damages.
In the suit, Peak claims the issues between he and Minaj started in 2017 when she went through her βNicki Hate Trainβ phase and accused fans like Peak of being βpaid molesβ and alleged theyβd been sent to sabotage her.

He went on to also cite an instance where the βItty Bitty Piggyβ rapper allegedly embarrassed him in front of her thousands of followers during an Instagram Live session. At a Super Bowl 2020 event, he claims that her husband Kenneth Petty also allegedly berated him and that she messaged him about it after the fact on social media.
Fast forward to this year, Peak claims that Minaj allegedly made references and comments alluding to him being mentally unstable, getting government assistance, and labeled him a βstalkerβ during several Stationhead livestreams thus resulting to this new suit.
However, the βFTCUβ rapper doesnβt seem too shaken by the suit as evidenced by her lawyerβs statement:
βMr. Peak has been harassing Nicki on social media for years on end to no avail. He has now graduated to seeking to shake her down financially with manifestly false allegations and legally frivolous claims. He will regret having gone down this disreputable road when he is forced to pay her legal fees as required by California law.β
She also sent out a tweet mid-morning on Monday teasing new music for her fans, seemingly going about her day as usual.
βWell, Barbz- Didnβt really want to have to speak on this but I just canβt stay quiet about it any longer. Last night, I recorded what will probably be your favorite song on the deluxe. It will immediately go into your TOP 5 of the entire PF2 era. OH MY FREAKING GOODNESSWDRFFHJKGV,β she wrote.
The rapper is currently gearing up for the U.S. leg of her βPink Friday 2" tour.
