Tiffany Haddish found herself in handcuffs after an arrest in Beverly Hills, California, early Friday morning, according to TMZ. The actress and comedian was not involved in an accident, but the Beverly Hills Police Department received a call around 5:45 a.m. that someone was stopped in the middle of Beverly Drive, TMZ said. The driver was slumped over the wheel and the car was running. When police arrived on the scene, they found Haddish. She was taken to jail without incident for suspicion of driving under the influence. The police report also says no one was injured.
The New York Post reports that the Girls Trip star performed Thursday night at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood for the clubβs 43rd annual free Thanksgiving feast for the community.

After the show ended, Haddish went out to celebrate, according to Us Magazine and her own Instagram footage of herself dancing at Yachtley Crewβs concert.

The Los Angeles Times reports Haddish is scheduled to be released later today.
This is the second time Haddish has been arrested for DUI, according to People, with the first incident occurring in Georgia in January 2022. Shortly after that arrest, Haddish joked on βThe Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonβ: βI can say this, Jimmy β¦ Iβve been praying to God to send me a new man. A good man,β she shared. βAnd God went ahead and sent me four β¦ in uniform.β
βAnd now I got a really great lawyer, and weβre going to work it out,β she explained to Fallon. βIβve got to get my asking of things to God a little better!β
Sheβs scheduled to go to trial December 4 for the 2022 case.
Haddish is also coming off allegations of sexual abuse after finding herself mired in scandal in September 2022 when she and comedian Aries Spears were accused of child sexual abuse in a since dropped lawsuit.
Weβre not making light of this situation, but clearly, Haddish needs to step up her praying game.
