One racist learned to never judge a book by its cover after he tried the wrong peaceful-looking man in the park. And, well…the results were all caught on camera.

In a now viral video, a unnamed Black man was recording himself preaching about the Bible. He set up shop in the middle of a park in Toronto. According to reports, the man was reciting the Bible to protest Canadian Thanksgiving and to honor Indigenous tribes. That’s when a random white man approached him.
“What do you want, man?” The Black man asks the other man. “I can see your spirit already.” Clearly thinking the white man is there to start some mess, the preacher was less than welcoming. But then man said he had a question.
This led to a brief but less-than-productive conversation about Europeans “stealing land” from Indigenous tribes. The white man asked the preacher to “explain it to me, brother.” But when he tried to do so, the preacher called the man out for not paying attention. No one, however, couldn’t anticipated the mans response.
“Do you know who the f**k I am?” The white man asked. At this point, the two were not close to reaching any common ground, and the situation was only worsened when the man pulled out a gun and cocked it.
“You’re going to tell me to step, n****r. Who the f**k are you, n****r?” he yelled while holding the gun. The Black man, attempting to deescalate the situation, offered to read from the Bible. In turn, however, the man responded, “Go ahead and f*****g read. Cause you’re a f*****g priest, n****r?” He continued, “Who the f**k are you?”
The preacher then tried to calm the man down and instead was meant with more gun-waving and racist slurs from him. Even when the preacher told him he was live-streaming their interaction, the white man kept going.
The racist’s luck turned around quickly, however, when the Black man reached for the gun– which turned out to be a BB gun– and wrestled the racist to the ground. At this point, the two men are out of the frame, but all you can hear is punches being landed.
Eventually, the Black man managed to get up unscathed… and as for the white man? His face was bloodied and immediately, he started apologizing profusely.
It would take another few minutes for the white man to finally leave the preacher alone. But before he did, the racist explained that his brother was robbed by a Black man earlier. “And that’s why I came to you,” he told the preacher.
“Have a good day,” the Black man finally told him. “Don’t threaten people with guns, man.” The video now has over 3.4 million views online.
