People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive List Needs Flava — Here Are Our Replacements

On Wednesday, PEOPLE revealed their choice for the 2024 Sexiest Man Alive —and it was none other than “The Office” and “Jack Ryan” star John Krasinki. To the surprise of no one, folks were disappointed.

Now before you “boo,” let us start by saying that you’re not alone in your confusion at this pick. Sure, Krasinki is a familiar face within the industry and “The Office” is beloved, but when it comes to “sexy”—no shade, but he isn’t even cracking the top 10. At some point, PEOPLE has to tap into the true thirst of its readership and do a bit more social listening so it can give the people who they really want. We’re getting tired of consistently being let down.

But don’t fret, dear reader. As we always do, we’ve brought our own group of sexy men for you to indulge in to replace some of the biggest misses, specifically four of Hollywood’s leading men that we all know and love: Morris Chestnut, Aaron Pierre, Method Man, and Aldis Hodge.

Instead of John Krasinski: Morris Chestnut

Once again, Morris “Forever Fine” Chestnut did not make the cover for Sexiest Man Alive for the umpteenth year in a row and we’re sick and tired of it. Not only did his appearance in season two of “Reasonable Doubt” boost views and ratings (OK, so we don’t know if there was a direct tie but this author definitely tuned in off the strength of his beauty alone. Plot be damned)—but he’s been objectively gorgeous for years. What’s up People, y’all got beef with fine, bald men? Hopefully, Chestnut will let this roll off his shoulders like he did back in 2022 when we previously asked him about getting snubbed all these years. But trust and believe us when we say: we won’t let this go. Kransinski, you had a good run—but you don’t deserve this title!

Instead of Benny Blanco: Aaron Pierre

Do we really have to say much here? Between Pierre’s impressive acting chops (looking at you “Rebel Ridge” and “Genius: MLK/X”), his insanely beautiful green eyes, and deep English voice and accent—there’s no reason why he wasn’t selected to be on this list. He’s had a phenomenal year and his star is only going to continue to rise. Sorry not sorry to Blanco, but he’s got to bounce. Expeditiously. There’s no comparison here.

Instead of Harry Styles: Method Man

If we’re talking “Sexiest Musician” then we’ve got to give this to Method Man. It’s literally Method Man. One of hip-hop’s finest. The Zaddy of all Zaddies. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t be on the cover and we’re limited to seeing his gorgeousness on “Power Book II: Ghost.” Give the man what he deserves and do it quickly! Styles, you may be a snack to some, but it’s time to let a real meal take over.

Instead of Robert Pattinson: Aldis Hodge

One of the most underrated actors whose fineness and acting skills doesn’t get discussed enough, Aldis Hodge has long proven why he deserves the sexy title since he appeared on our screens as “Alec Hardison” in “Leverage” back in 2008. Since then, he’s only gotten more refined and it’s beyond time to put him on the pedestal where he belongs. What’s more, he recently became a first-time dad to baby girl earlier this year which makes him the top pick for Sexiest New Dad as opposed to Robert Pattinson. The choice is really easy, pack it up Pattinson.
