Corinne Foxx, the oldest daughter of Jamie Foxx is now engaged to her longtime boyfriend, Joe Hooten.
The former “Beat Shazaam” host took to Instagram on Sunday to announce the next step in her love life typing in the caption, “from the first time I saw you, I knew you were my forever.” In the gorgeous black and white filtered photos she shows off the impressive rock and the two hugging and smiling.

Hooten and Foxx have been quite private throughout their relationship, so much so that from their social media you can only see that they were both students at The University of Southern California in 2018. According to her TikTok account, they started dating in 2019.
This happy news comes only a few days after her father, Jamie Foxx, celebrated his 56th birthday, posting on Instagram his excitement to still be alive to celebrate the day. In April, Foxx suffered a mysterious medical scare that left him in rehab. Under a scroll of selfies, he posted a caption thanking everybody for the prayers during his health crisis:
This birthday is a special one…I wanna start by saying thank you to everyone that prayed for me when I was in a bad way… here lately I’ve been able to thank some of you personally but I want to say to all of you. I NEEDED EVERY PRAYER… you lifted me through… I was able to make it to today because of your prayers…”
Today, the “Blame It” singer reposted his daughter’s engagement pictures with a heartfelt message about his love for his daughter and her relationship:
