If you’ll remember, near the end of July, Williams and fellow Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland joined Beyonce onstage where they performed a few of their hits like “Bootylicious,” “Lose My Breath,” and Bey’s popular Renaissance song “Energy” for the last night of the tour in Las Vegas. The shocking turn of events instantly went viral as it seemed no one expected it.

Now, we know exactly how the iconic moment came to be thanks to a new interview Williams did in a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live.” Speaking to host Andy Cohen on Wednesday, Williams said the reunion was more of an “awesome, spur of the moment” thing as opposed to their memorable 2018 Coachella moment.

While the latter one had a bit more planning going into it, the “Cowboy Carter” tour event was way more impromptu and somewhat last minute.

“This one was, ‘Y’all let’s do this,’ and we did,” she said.

Later on, when asked whether or not they’d get all get back in the studio to record new music again, Williams made it clear that while she’s enjoying her current time on Broadway in the popular musical “Death Becomes Her,” she wouldn’t rule out a potential new Destiny’s Child project.

“Anything is possible. To me, performing on stage is like that for me…I only like it with Beyoncé and Kelly,” she told Cohen. “But as far as Broadway, I’m a Broadway girl… Music? I only want to do it with them.”

Now if they really want gag us all, they could bring out other previous members LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson since it seems they’re all on good terms now. But honestly, whatever they decide to do will be just fine with us! Watch Williams’ full appearance below.
